• Tarik Emre Sener graduated from the French high school Lycée Saint-Joseph, Istanbul.
• He studied Medicine at Marmara University, School of Medicine, Istanbul (2004–2010).
• He completed his residency training in Urology at Marmara University, School of Medicine, Department of Urology (2011–2016).
• During his residency, he completed his endourology fellowship at Tenon University Hospital, Paris, alongside Professor Olivier Traxer.
• He is currently an Associate Professor of Urology at Marmara University, School of Medicine.
• He serves as the Chair of Progress in Endourology, Technology and Research Association (PETRA) Urogroup.
• He serves as the Chair of the European School of Urology, Lower Urinary Tract Endoscopy Working Group.
• He is a member of the EAU Endourology Stone Surgical Working Group.
