Dr. Lisette ’t Hoen is a pediatric urologist at Erasmus MC with expertise in congenital urogenital anomalies, bladder dysfunction, and pediatric renal transplantation. She combines her clinical work with an active research portfolio, authoring more than 60 peer‑reviewed publications and multiple systematic reviews that inform European pediatric urology practice.

She serves as chair of the EAU Young Academic Urologists Paediatric Urology Working Group and is a full member of the EAU Paediatric Urology Guidelines Panel, contributing to international guideline development and patient‑centred research. Her current research focuses on preventing renal function decline in boys with posterior urethral valves.

Dr. ’t Hoen is also committed to education and innovation within Erasmus MC, coordinating resident training and developing digital tools to improve patient care and communication.
