PD Dr. Aybike Hofmann is a board-certified urologist with subspecialty certification in pediatric urology and holds the title of Fellow of Pediatric Urology (FEAPU). She serves as Head of the Department of Pediatric Urology at Marienhaus Klinikum Neuwied, Germany. Her clinical and scientific focus lies in reconstructive pediatric urology and the management of rare urogenital malformations, particularly bladder exstrophy and posterior urethral valves. She completed her urology residency at the Bundeswehr Central Hospital in Koblenz and her pediatric urology training at the Department of Pediatric Urology in Regensburg under the leadership of Professor Rösch. Dr. Hofmann is habilitated in the field of rare urogenital diseases and is actively involved in research, teaching, and medical education. She is also host of the medical podcast “Die Kinderurologen” for healthcare professionals.
